Please join us in supporting two local filmmakers as they tell the story of pioneering women! Premiering on October 20, 2013 at IMAX in Raleigh, Business & Professional Women: A History, A Movement is a short documentary about the first organization to advocate for working women.

Movie Premiere at IMAX on Sunday October 20, 2013

- Join other film-goers in purchasing lunch at the new Pogo restaurant before the screening. (On campus at Marbles next to the IMAX theatre). Say, "I love BPW" and you'll get a free brownie for dessert!

- 2:00 pm Attend the IMAX theatre screening. (People are coming from all across the state to attend this event, so you'll want to arrive a little early for best seating.)

- 2:45 pm Panel discussion on the film and today's young working woman.

The screening is free and open to the public. After the screening, join the conversation with a panel of distinguished guests as they discuss…How does today's working woman maintain the forward momentum achieved over the past 100 years?

Brought to you by Director Ashley Maria, the film tells the progressive history of BPW and the members who have made an impact – yesterday and today. The Business & Professional Women's Club was founded nearly 100 years ago to advocate for women's rights in the workplace and promote the professional and personal growth of working women.
